May the divine spirit of the holiday season

Its gleaming rainbow colors merry and bright-

The beauty of the sunset hours,

Twinkling immortal stars and shining moon

Be our guiding lights through darkness.

Let the bells ring and children sing

Sublime words of prayer

Rebounding all over the globe

Until earth be made a safer place for every child

A time when madness of war and pain of hunger cease.

From the warmth of our heart

Let our love and hope usher in a long and lasting peace

Both within and among the human family

Around the world.

May our perpetual yearning be fulfilled

For a future where man and nature coexist

In mutual harmony together on this marvelous,

Green planet we call home.

And may we pray for a future of transcending

All boundaries of nation, culture, religion, race and creed

Uniting our heart and mind

As we celebrate Christmas tonight.
