Whether in good, lean, or uncharted times, Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen does not falter in their commitment to serve those in need. But never turning anyone away means they often find themselves turning to the Chelsea community for help. This summer, New Yorkers need your support as we work to rebuild from the COVID-19 pandemic and ensure that our guests are not left behind during the recovery. Here at the Soup Kitchen, we’re continuing to track public policy that impacts the lives of the people who visit us each day for food and social services. Below are just some of the ways you can get involved in the fight for food and housing justice.

Our inaugural Virtual Food Drive is still underway, with all donations being matched by our friends at Google, up to $50,000, between now and June 30th.

Currently, we’ve unlocked almost $19,000 in matched donations, but we still have to raise an additional $31,000 to ensure no dollars are left on the table!

Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a difference in the lives of New Yorkers who continue to struggle with hunger and hardship. Google’s match challenge, combined with our ability to use wholesale prices and leverage donated food items that would otherwise go to waste, means every $5 you donate can provide 20 meals for our neighbors.
