February 1, 5, 7:
Three Opportunities for the Public to Participate in the Environmental Review
For
Redevelopment of the NYCHA (NYC Housing Authority)
Fulton and Elliott-Chelsea Houses
The Fulton and Elliott-Chelsea PACT (Permanent Affordability Commitment Together) project has begun an environmental review process that analyzes the impact to the human, built, and natural environment in the area of these proposed actions: Staged Demolition and replacement of all existing dwelling units and community facility spaces and Staged Development of new mixed-use buildings, including affordable and market-rate residential units, new community facility spaces, and new retail uses at the Project Sites.
The environmental review process begins with a public comment period known as “scoping.” During this period, the public may weigh in on what issues and analysis should be included in the review.
To prepare an informed comment, click here and review the Draft Scope of Work. For the PACT hotline, call 212-306-4036.
