The March Full Board Meeting of Manhattan Community Board 4 (MCB4): Tuesday, March 31, 6:30pm Online Via YouTube & Zoom and In-Person at Mount Sinai West (1000 10th Ave., 2nd Floor Conference Room B) | Almost always assembling on the first Wednesday of the month, this Tuesday, March 31 meeting is a rare exception for the full board membership of Manhattan Community Board 4 (MCB4). The occasion, nonetheless, has much business as usual, as the complete roster of MCB4 membership votes on letters generated by their various committees. Before that, the Public Session is a say-anything opportunity, as is the Public Hearing. Two minutes is the usual slot, but MCB4 reserves the right to cut that in half (and often exercises that right, so prepare accordingly). There’s a sign-up sheet on site for in-person attendees; online, you can sign up when registering to attend via Zoom (to do so, click here). Reports from local electeds or their reps are also a regular feature. To attend by phone, call 646-828-7666 (Webinar ID: 161 368 0437). To attend via Zoom, click here. Livestream the meeting on the MCB4 YouTube channel, which archives all of its public meetings, allowing you access them at your convenience.

Trombone Trio Skyline Bones: 5:30pm to 7:30pm, Tuesdays in March at Market 57 (inside Pier 57; 25 11th Vv, at W. 15th St.) | Skyline Bones, a NYC-based trombone trio comprised of Nicholas Martin, Ric Becker, and Jacob Elkin, blend pop, jazz, classical, and original works. Tuesdays throughout March, they’ve been bringing that musical mix to Market 57—and March 31 marks the last date of this short but sweet residency.

E-Waste + Textile Recycling: Friday, April 3, 10am to 2pm at 300-310 W. 14th St. (at 8th Ave.) | This rain or shine event from the LES Ecology Center, co-sponsored by the Meatpacking BID, NYS Senator Erik Bottcher, and Community Board 2, invites you to bring your electronics and textiles–which, upon collection, will be responsibly recycled. See the below flyer for a list of accepted (and not accepted) items. Also find info by clicking here.
