Thursday, July 11: Urban Garden Tour | Take an immersive walking tour through a network of pollinator gardens in Hell’s Kitchen, including Bob’s Park and the Canoe Plaza. Meral Marino and Shanti Nagel are your guides.

The free tour happens from 5:30-7pm. Cocktail Hour, 6-8pm.

The first stop will be Bob’s Park (35th St., btw. 10th & Dyer Aves.). This event is presented by Design Wild, in partnership with Clinton Housing Development Company and the Hudson Yards Hell’s Kitchen Alliance.

Grow With Google | The Grow with Google NYC Learning Center is a new temporary public educational space offering New Yorkers free digital skills workshops on a range of topics, one-on-one coaching, and community events. At Google’s NYC Headquarters (111 Eighth Ave. at W. 15th St.). Free Events from the Flatiron 23rd Street Partnership Business Improvement District | The Talk Tuesday series, providing educational and cultural talks, takes place in the South Plaza, every Tuesday at 6pm. July 9: Artists, Books, and Independent Publishers of NYC. July 16: Site City Future. July 23: Brands as Landmarks. The Wellness Wednesdays (6pm) series of fitness classes offers, on July 10: Dance Fitness. July 17: All-Levels Yoga. July 24: All-Levels Street Jazz. The Throwback Thursdays series offers games, beginning at 11am, kids’ workshops from 12-2pm, and performances and frozen treats from 6-7pm. So Many Things to do in Hudson River Park | HRPK’s season of free iconic NY films is underway, and each movie is set in the magnetic and mythic city we call home. Every Wednesday at 8:30pm (or dusk), at the Pier 63 Lawn Bowl (at W. 23rd St.). On July 10, Walter Hill’s classic NYC gang turf war tale, The Warriors, screens, and it’s scored with a blend of hip-hop, soul and funk for a live, remixed soundtrack to complement the dialogue. On July 17, it’s Rob Reiner’s When Harry Met Sally. Other films in the series include Spike Lee’s Do the Right Thing (July 31), and Sydney Pollack’s Tootsie (August 7). The series concludes on August 21, with Penny Marshall’s Big. HRPK has a kid-friendly roster of animated movies as well. So pack your picnic, grab a blanket, and bring the family to Pier 46 at Charles St., Friday nights starting at 8:30pm (or dusk). July 12: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. July 19th: Ralph Breaks the Internet. July 26th: The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part.

Learn the steps, then stay to show off your new moves, when you beat feet to HRPK’s Sunset Salsa series (with Talia Castro-Pozo). Every Tuesday, through August 27. Lessons: 6:30-7:30pm and open dance, 7:30-9pm, at Pier 45 (at Christopher St.). For more info, click here. Also at Pier 45, 7-9pm, the Free Friday concert series is set against beautiful sunsets. July 12: Reggae with Kevin Batchelor. July 19: Brazilian Samba with Manhattan Samba. July 26: Brass with High & Mighty Brass Band.

Summer Movie Series and More at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum | Friday, July 19, First Man is a look at the life of an astronaut, Neil Armstrong, and the legendary space mission that led him to become the first man to walk on the moon. The event is first come, first served. The movie begins at sunset, weather permitting. From 5-9pm at the Intrepid Sea Air & Space Museum Pier (W. 46th St. & 12th Ave.). Also on July 19, celebrate the Apollo mission with Dr. Noah Petro, who will use images from NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter at the Museum’s Astronomy Night. Following the talk, enjoy stargazing on the flight deck with high-powered telescopes. The Intrepid Sea Air & Space Museum is located at W. 46th St, at 12th Ave.).
