BY FRIENDS OF CHELSEA GREEN | Last Saturday, October 29, Friends of Chelsea Green (the nonprofit that manages Chelsea Green Park) hosted over 600 neighbors at our Haunted Circus Halloween event, inside and on the outskirts of the park’s 140 W. 20th St. location (btw. Sixth & Seventh Aves.). Families enjoyed circus-themed stilt walkers, jugglers, and other crowd-pleasers. Kids engaged in arts and crafts in the park, while local area businesses and organizations lined the street, providing more activities and giveaways. As expected, the seemingly endless supply of candy was a big hit with all ages! This was the third annual Halloween event for the park, and the first-ever block party. Anyone interested in participating next year or at Chelsea Green’s annual Spring Fling can email email@example.com to get on the list now and be notified when planning starts.
