PHOTOS  & TEXT BY THE WEST 400 BLOCK ASSOCIATION | From our friends at the West 400 Block Association, following aother successful edtion of their annual Tree Lighting in Clement Clarke Moore Park: “Thank you, Rosanne Cash, for a spirited reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas at our tree lighting. What a magical treat it was for the crowd of friends and neighbors! Special thanks to Mr. Walker, the chorus director from Avenues, who went above and beyond so the show could go on.  And a shout out to Allen and Paul for the all-important sound, light, and electricity year after year at the tree and menorah lightings.”

On December 18, Clement Clarke Moore Park is the setting for the West 400 Block Association’s annual Menorah Lighting. Chocolate gelt will be handed out, and Dick Gottfried (about to retire as Assembly District 75’s rep in Albany) will continue his tradition of reading the story of Hannukah. “All are welcome” at this event, says the West 400 Block Association.
