‘Unity and Community Engagement’ at Annual Chelsea Reform Democratic Club BBQ

The Chelsea Reform Democratic Club (CRDC) gathered for a BBQ on August 6, at a storied location befitting the annual summertime event. Held at Frying Pan NYC (207 12th Ave. at Pier 66), the BBQ “was a success,” said Layla Law-Gisiko (who is, along with David Warren, newly elected as a CRDC District Leader). Among those accounting for what Law-Gisiko described as “a great crowd from our Chelsea community” were CRDC President Evelyn Suarez, County Leader Keith Wright, NYS Senator Brad Hoylman-Sigal, NYS Assemblymember Tony Simone, and Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine.

“This annual tradition brought the Chelsea community together under perfect weather, fostering connections and conversations in a vibrant atmosphere,” noted Law-Gisiko, adding, “Here’s to another successful year of unity and community engagement!” And here’s to that good time had by all, as seen in the below photos.
